Our Programs
iDIA’s seven program clusters bring our four pillars to life in the community. Each program is co-created with cultural knowledge holders and youth, grounded in healing-centered practice, and designed to last generations.
iDIA Labs
Cultural + Digital Innovation Hub
iDIA Labs is our innovation hub, a space where ancestral knowledge meets emerging technologies. Fellows, youth, and cultural knowledge holders collaborate to develop Indigenous-led digital tools, data sovereignty systems, creative technology projects, and community-driven solutions.
Who it’s for: Indigenous youth, technologists, researchers, and cultural innovators.
iDIA Roots
Land-Based Curriculum & Traditional Ecological Knowledge
iDIA Roots reconnects our community to the land, water, and living systems that sustain us. Through elder-led field experiences, seasonal teachings, and Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK) curricula, participants restore their relationships with the natural world.
Who it’s for: Youth, families, educators, and community members seeking land-based learning.
iDIA Teach
Training & Technical Assistance for Tribal Organizations
iDIA Teach offers professional training, workshops, strategic planning support, and technical assistance (TTA) to Tribal governments, Native nonprofits, and Indigenous-led organizations. We help communities build their own cultural, ecological, and digital initiatives with confidence, including the responsible adoption and governance of emerging technologies.
Services include: Cultural program design, data sovereignty, digital safety, grant management, evaluation support, storytelling, and more.
iDIA Voices
Preserve & Share with iDIA Voices
Oral History, Language Revitalization & Cultural Archives
iDIA Voices preserves, revitalizes, and amplifies the voices of our people. Through oral history recording, language documentation, and protected digital archives, we ensure that stories, songs, and teachings are safeguarded for generations to come — with community governance and data sovereignty at the center.
iDIA Sparks
Youth-Led Storytelling & Digital Media
iDIA Sparks is our youth-led creative media program — a space for the next generation to tell their own stories. Young people learn digital storytelling, podcasting, video production, and cultural media creation, all rooted in their identity and guided by elders and mentors.
Who it’s for: Indigenous youth ages 14–24
iDIA Earth
Climate Resilience & Environmental Innovation
iDIA Earth centers Indigenous ecological leadership in the face of the climate crisis. We develop community-led environmental initiatives, Indigenous climate adaptation frameworks, and innovation projects that apply traditional knowledge to modern environmental challenges.
iDIA NETWORK
Intertribal Collaboration Platform
iDIA Network is our hub for intertribal connection, peer learning, and cross-community collaboration. We build relationships among Indigenous organizations, Tribal nations, and allies creating a growing ecosystem for collective self-determination and shared innovation.
